Documents of IHP Staff
Concerning the archived documents of IHP Staffs, there are three main sources:
First, the Archives is in possession of the personal collections, manuscripts, letters, and other materials brought to Taiwan by early fellows, including Pan Chen (1905–1999), Kan Lao (1907–2003), Fu Lohuan (1913–1966), He Ziquan (1911–2011), and Keng-wang Yen (1916–1996), following our relocation.
Second, several fellows after retiring donated various research materials and personal documents, such as clippings, manuscripts, offprints, and letters. In terms of number of donated items, some of the larger collections are those of Chuan-ying Yen, Chin-fu Hung (1946–2019), Pak-yuen Liu (1945–2021), Yi-jen Chang (1930–2009), and Chang-chien Huang (1919–2009).
Third, we are fortunate to have received curated collections on specialized topics or themes, namely materials of the Custom, Religion, and Daily Life Research Center, IHP, from Tseng-kuei Liu and fieldwork surveys conducted in southwestern China from Ming-ke Wang.
