These include photographs, registration documents, bonds, and other materials from the period of Japanese colonial rule, as well as post-war stock certificates, passbooks, and certificates from his time at the Yujing Sugar Factory. In concert, they document Chiang’s professional career and family history while reflecting administrative, economic, and societal transformations in local community during the transition from Japanese rule to the post-war era.
